P.I.E.S.
A holistic approach to developing as a person.
#UCLetsBuild! P.I.E.S. is a mnemonic acronym that will help each individual keep in mind the sweetness of personal progression. At Under Construction, we believe that "the person has the power". People are the great source that power everything. Therefore, the development of people is the only way to build great futures for communities. However, each person must seek their own style of building by getting in their own zone. We seek to elevate people by reaching each person and creating balance one slice of PIES at a time.
P.I.E.S. is a way to remember four areas that should always serve as a foundation when building ourselves.
When developing the P.I.E.S., we develop the Physical Intellectual Emotional Spiritual.
However, we share this belief: Matt. 20:16: “The last shall be first & the first shall be last.”
We encourage P.I.E.S. growth in this order: Spiritual Emotional Intellectual Physical.
